Empower Rental Group is seeking a CEC Technician in the Austin/San Antonio, TX area. This role combines advanced diagnostics and repairs on heavy equipment with proactive sales of maintenance services.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical skills, be self-motivated, and comfortable engaging with customers to propose service solutions. CDL may be a plus and a valid license is required where applicable.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of mechanical experience.
• Extensive experience in diagnostics and repair of heavy equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or technical degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose complex issues with heavy equipment powertrain, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Complete complex repairs to construction, aerial, and earthmoving machinery.
• Promote maintenance packages, repair services, and parts to customers.
• Write and manage service records and ensure safety compliance.
