Job summary

EquipmentShare is hiring a Heavy Equipment Shop Technician (Mechanic) at our Evansville, IN facility. You will perform maintenance and repair across a range of heavy equipment and aerial lifts, using real-time data to diagnose and fix issues efficiently.

The role offers Monday–Friday hours, potential on-call compensation, and access to OEM training. You will work with a team focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Must own tools applicable to position.
• Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.
• Extensive knowledge of construction equipment with an advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Use our tech to create, assign, and monitor work orders.
• Track machine service intervals and diagnose issues quickly.
• Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed.
• Assist in training lower level technicians as needed.
