Vermeer Midwest in Charleston, IL is seeking a Service Technician to inspect, maintain, and repair heavy equipment such as directional drills and excavators. The role is a day shift, full-time, with a pay range of $28-$31 per hour.

You will diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues using computerized tools, perform preventative maintenance, and document service activities. CDL-B preferred; strong safety and customer service skills are valued.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2-5 years' experience repairing heavy equipment or completed technical training.
• Agricultural experience preferred.
• Hands-on experience with electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.
• Self-motivated and safety-conscious with good time management.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect, maintain, and repair heavy-duty equipment including drills, trenchers, excavators.
• Diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues using diagnostic tools.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs using hand and power tools.
• Clean, lubricate, test, and troubleshoot equipment for efficiency and safety.
• Complete service tickets and documentation promptly.
• Communicate repair status with customers and collaborate with teammates.
• Fill in as a Field Service Tech as needed.
