Vermeer Midwest in Goodfield, IL is hiring a full-time Service Technician to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy equipment including drills, trenchers, and excavators. You will use electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical skills, document work, and communicate with customers.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years of heavy equipment repair experience or completion of a formal technical training program.
• Agricultural experience; strong communication and safety-conscious mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect, maintain, and repair heavy-duty equipment such as directional drills, trenchers, brush chippers, excavators, and aerial lifts.
• Diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues using computerized tools.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs using hand and power tools.
• Clean, lubricate, test, and troubleshoot equipment to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
• Complete service tickets and documentation accurately and timely.
• Communicate repair status with customers and collaborate with other technicians as needed.
• Fill in as a Field Service Tech on an as-needed basis.
