Job summary

Wallenius Wilhelmsen is hiring a Manufacturing Heavy Equipment Processor for our Pooler, GA facility. Starting pay is $19.00 per hour. The role loads/unloads equipment, operates lift trucks and cranes, and moves heavy units as part of the shipping/receiving process.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate various types of heavy equipment, forklifts, overhead cranes.
• Read and interpret paperwork related to shipping/receiving, such as bills of lading, manifests, and export documents.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand or walk for a full workday in varied weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload construction equipment to/from trailers for receiving or shipment.
• Safely operate lift truck, overhead crane, or other material handling equipment.
• Drive and operate equipment including backing up, tilting or raising/lowering attachments to facilitate transport.
• Work outside in all reasonable weather conditions.
• Read and interpret shipping/receiving paperwork (bills of lading, shipping orders, manifests).
• Must have a current driver’s license to move units from factory to yard.

Wallenius Wilhelmsen company is seeking a Manufacturing-Heavy Equipment Processor at our equipment processing center in Pooler, GA.

Job Description

• Load and unload construction equipment to/from trailers for receiving or shipment from the yard
• Safely operate lift truck, overhead crane, or other material
• Drive and operate equipment including backing up, tilting or raising or lowering attachments or other machine movements to facilitate transport
• Be able to work outside in all reasonable weather condition
• Read and interpret paperwork associated with the shipping/receiving function including but not limited to bills of lading, shipping orders, manifests, tally sheets or export documentation
• Must have a current driver’s license to drive units from the factory to the yard for storage or distribution

• Ability to carry and lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to complete a full workday walking and/or standing in all reasonable weather conditions
