Job summary

Wallenius Wilhelmsen is seeking a Manufacturing-Heavy Equipment Assembler at our Brunswick, GA equipment processing center. You will assemble heavy equipment using hand, electric, and air-powered tools, unpackage/install/remove parts, and operate equipment to facilitate assembly.

You must read manuals and schematics, follow OSHA safety standards, and work outdoors in various weather. Candidates should be able to lift 50 lbs and climb heights up to 15 feet. Valid driver's license required.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate heavy equipment, forklifts, overhead cranes
• Ability to read and interpret manuals & schematics
• Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems for construction equipment
• Sufficient hand dexterity and strength to operate tools and withstand vibration
• Lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights up to 15 ft
• Stand/walk for full shift in all weather conditions
• Current valid driver’s license

Keurne, a Wallenius Wilhelmsen company, is seeking Manufacturing-Heavy Equipment Assembler at our equipment processing center in Brunswick, GA.

Starting pay is $23.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Job Description

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Complete assembly of partially built heavy equipment using hand, electric, and air-powered tools
• Unpackage, install, and remove machine parts
• Drive and operate equipment including backing up, tilting or raising or lowering attachments or other machine movements to facilitate proper assembly
• Be able to work outside in all reasonable weather condition
• Read and interpret machine manuals and schematics for assembly purposes
• Adhere to OSHA standards and company safety regulations

Job Requirements

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Ability to operate various types of heavy equipment , forklifts, overhead cranes
• Ability to read and interpret machine manuals and schematics
• Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems for construction and agricultural equipment
• Sufficient hand dexterity and strength to operate a sledgehammer, power tools and withstand vibration of tools
• Ability to lift overhead 50 lbs and climb to/work at heights of up to 15 feet
• Ability to complete a full workday walking and/or standing in all reasonable weather conditions
• Current valid driver’s license
