Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking an Equipment Operator (Driver License Required) to operate heavy equipment and remove branches and tree material from electrical lines. The role emphasizes safety, physical endurance, and reliability in a demanding outdoor environment.

The position is full-time and non-exempt with competitive hourly pay and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, retirement, and paid time off. DOT-regulated safety practices apply.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Possesses working knowledge to identify tree and shrub species.
• Familiar with electrical hazards.

Responsibilities

• Operates heavy equipment such as bulldozers, backhoes, skid steers, excavators, loaders, dump trucks, mowers and stump grinders.
• Transports equipment to and from multi-state job locations.
• Installs and removes gates, fences, barb wire, culverts and base.
• Gathers brush and feeds brush into wood chipper; uses chainsaw for cutting brush, logs and larger trees.
• Performs equipment maintenance and ensures neat, clean mechanical order.
