Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking an Equipment Operator (Valid Driver License Required) to manage heavy equipment and remove branches from electrical lines across multiple sites. You will operate bulldozers, backhoes, skid steers, excavators, loaders, dump trucks, mowers and stump grinders, while ensuring safety and efficiency on varied terrains.

Daily duties include transporting equipment between locations, maintaining tools and vehicles, and assisting with herbicide application on

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to identify tree and shrub species.
• Familiar with electrical hazards.
• Valid Driver License required.

Responsibilities

• Operates heavy equipment such as bulldozers, backhoes, skid steers, excavators, loaders, dump trucks, mowers and stump grinders.
• Transports equipment to multi-state job locations.
• Install and remove gates, fences, barb wire.
• Treats right-of-way with herbicide as directed, following safety procedures.
• Maintains vehicles and equipment in good mechanical order.
• Works around hazardous equipment and noise with hearing protection.
