Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking an Equipment Operator (Driver License Required) to operate heavy equipment and clear vegetation around electrical lines. The role involves driving to multiple job sites, performing routine maintenance, and following safety protocols in diverse conditions.

The position is full-time, non-exempt, with competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits, including weekly pay and health coverage. CDL preferred but not required at hire.

Qualifications

• Operates heavy equipment such as bulldozers, backhoes, skid steers and excavators.
• Identifies tree species and understands electrical hazards.
• Performs pre-employment checks and adheres to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operates heavy equipment including bulldozers, backhoes, skid steers, excavators, loaders and trucks.
• Transports equipment to and from multiple state job locations.
• Maintains and services equipment to keep it in good working order.
• Gathers brush and feeds into wood chipper as needed.
• Assists with herbicide application following safety guidelines.
• Works in varying weather and terrain and uses hearing protection as required.
