Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC hires an Equipment Operator to remove branches and tree material from electrical lines using heavy equipment. A valid driver license is required and willingness to operate across multiple locations is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Ability to identify tree and shrub species.
• Familiar with electrical hazards.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates heavy equipment (bulldozers, backhoes, skid steers, excavators, loaders, dump trucks, mowers, stump grinders).
• Transports equipment to/from multi-state job locations.
• Installs/removes gates, fences, barb wire.
• Installs/removes culverts, rocks and base.
• Works around hazardous equipment with hearing protection.
• Gathers brush and feeds into wood chipper.
• Uses chainsaw to cut brush, logs and stumps.
• Works in all temperatures and weather conditions.
• Works around uneven ground.
• Must have transportation to show up location.
