Job summary

Texas Materials, a CRH company, is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator for the San Antonio/New Braunfels area. You will operate a variety of heavy equipment for groundwork and construction and must follow safety procedures and company policies.

Applicants should have a High School diploma or GED and 1–2 years of experience. A valid CDL (Class A or B) and willingness to travel, including nights and weekends, are preferred. We value safety, teamwork, and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 1-2 years experience required.
• Must pass pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check.
• Willingness to travel and work nights/weekends.
• Must maintain valid drivers license (CDL Class A/B).

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow all OSHA/MSHA regulations and company policies.
• Report problems to Foreman, Superintendent, Safety Manager, or HR Manager.
• Follow daily tasks and project-specific directions from Foreman.
• Perform routine servicing and refer major issues to supervisor.
• Conduct daily pre- and post-inspections with proper documentation.
• Assist in training less-experienced staff on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
