Job summary

Amrize is seeking an Equipment Operator to run dozers, loaders, excavators, haul trucks, and other heavy equipment for paving and moving earth and materials. You will perform routine inspections and keep equipment clean and safe.

The role emphasizes safe operation, adherence to safety and environmental policies, and accurate completion of necessary paperwork. A high school diploma and at least one year of related experience are required, along with valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and write.
• Excellent driving skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate various heavy equipment to load trucks, feed bins with aggregate materials, and maintain proper material quantities.
• Maintain equipment by keeping it clean and orderly.
• Perform daily inspections to ensure safe operation and compliance with safety standards.
• Follow safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements at all times.
• Load material into bins, crushers, trucks, or plant.
• Move earth or other materials between locations.
• Perform visual inspections and minor repairs as needed.
• Complete paperwork as necessary; assist with other duties.
• Demonstrate commitment to health, safety, and environmental policies in all work environments.
