Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. is seeking an Equipment Operator to run dozers, loaders, excavators and other large equipment on paving and earth-moving projects. You will perform daily inspections, load materials, and maintain equipment to ensure safe operations.

The role emphasizes safety, adherence to environmental requirements, and collaboration with the team on a range of construction activities across our North American sites.

Qualifications

• Education:High School diploma or equivalent
• Required Work Experience: Minimun of one year of related work experience or equivalent combination of eduaction and experience. Ability to read and write. Excellent driving skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate various heavy equipment in order to loads trucks, feeds bins with various aggregate materials, maintain proper quantities of material to be loaded.
• Maintain equipment: Keeps equipment clean and orderly.
• Safety: Performs daily inspections on equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Ensures that safety, compliance, environmental requirements are followed at all times.
• Load material into bins, into crusher, into trucks or into plant.
• Moves earth or other materials from one location to another.
• Performs visual and safety inspection of equipment. May maintain appearance of equipment, proper air pressure in tires, proper fluid levels or perform minor repairs as needed.
• Completes are paperwork that may be necessary; assists with other duties required.
• Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
