Matter Management Enterprises, LLC is seeking an Operator – Heavy Equipment to safely operate heavy equipment at a recycling center, landfill, or transfer station. You will perform pre- and post-operation inspections, monitor waste, and complete reports to ensure safe, efficient handling of materials.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED and may prefer candidates with 2+ years of related heavy equipment experience, plus familiarity with OSHA/state environmental regulations.

Competenze

• High School diploma or GED.
• Two years of verifiable prior related experience in heavy equipment operation preferred.
• Experience working at sites regulated by OSHA or a state environmental agency is preferred.

Mansioni

• Perform pre- and post-operation inspection of equipment per policy.
• Safely operate equipment such as forklift, excavator, bulldozer and loader.
• Monitor waste for evidence of unacceptable materials.
• Perform minor equipment service and refer major issues to Maintenance Shop.
• Complete Equipment Condition Reports and report repairs to supervisor.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
