Job summary

Matter Management Enterprises, LLC is seeking an Operator – Heavy Equipment to safely operate heavy machinery at a recycling center, landfill or transfer station. The role includes transferring, spreading, loading and compacting waste or soil with a focus on efficiency and safety.

Responsibilities include performing inspections, operating multiple types of equipment, monitoring waste, and completing reports while adhering to safety policies. A Class A CDL is required to qualify for this position.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation inspection of the equipment to ensure safety and readiness.
• Safely and efficiently operate equipment including forklift, excavator, bulldozer, rock truck, front-end loader.
• Continuously monitor waste for evidence of unacceptable materials.
• Perform and document minor maintenance; report major repairs to Maintenance Shop.
• Complete Equipment Condition Reports and other required reports; notify supervisor of repairs.
• Follow all required safety policies and procedures and perform other duties as assigned.
