McNay Excavating is seeking a Heavy Machine Operator to join our team. You will operate a range of heavy machines, perform routine maintenance, and report defects promptly to keep equipment in safe, working order.

The ideal candidate holds the required state license and collaborates well with teammates to meet project timelines. Responsibilities include safe operation of excavators, loaders, and dozers, plus adherence to safety standards and on-site procedures.

Qualifications

• Must hold the proper license to operate heavy machinery in the state.
• Previous construction or heavy equipment experience desired.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• The ability to work well within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a variety of large, heavy machinery such as excavators, loaders, dozers, and more.
• Maintain all equipment used, including cleaning and regular maintenance.
• Follow best digging practices for all projects.
• Work closely with the rest of the team on each project to ensure success.
