Job summary

Lozano Paving LLC is seeking a Heavy Machine Operator to operate a range of heavy equipment, following safety guidelines and project specs. You will perform and record routine maintenance, report defects, and keep equipment in good working order.

Licensing to operate heavy machinery is required, and a strong team orientation plus safety discipline is expected. The role emphasizes operating excavators, rollers, pavers, backhoes, and related machinery, with a focus on timely, safe project

Qualifications

• Clear communication with team and supervisors.
• Meticulous attention to equipment and job sites.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a construction crew.
• Physical ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a variety of large, heavy machinery such as excavators, roller, slipform pavers, skid loader, backhoe and more.
• Maintain all equipment used, including cleaning and regular maintenance.
• Follow best digging practices for all projects.
• Work closely with the rest of the team on each project to ensure success.
