Job summary

USA Hometown Experts in Knoxville, TN is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to work independently in the field and safely operate a variety of equipment.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with excavators, mini excavators, skid steers, and other construction machinery, plus experience driving trucks with trailers and securing loads for transport to job sites.

Qualifications

• Significant hands-on experience operating excavators and mini excavators.
• Experience with various sizes of heavy equipment on worksites.
• Proficient in truck driving with equipment trailers.
• Ability to load, secure, transport, and unload heavy equipment safely.
• Strong understanding of jobsite safety practices.
• Dependable, mechanically inclined and capable of working independently.
• CDL is a plus.

Description

We are looking for an experienced, well-rounded Heavy Equipment Operator who is comfortable working independently in the field and can safely operate a variety of equipment.

The ideal candidate will have significant hands‑on experience operating excavators, mini excavators, skid steers/compact track loaders, and other construction equipment. This person should also be experienced driving trucks while pulling equipment trailers, including safely loading, securing, transporting, and unloading heavy equipment.

We are looking for someone who can be given a job and trusted to operate equipment safely, efficiently, and professionally with minimal supervision.
