Job summary

Jones Land Developers is seeking a Heavy Machine Operator to join our team. You will operate excavators, loaders, dozers and other heavy equipment, following safety guidelines and project specs to ensure timely completion.

Maintain and inspect equipment, report defects, and collaborate with crew to meet project goals. A valid driver's license with clean history and prior heavy equipment experience are preferred to ensure safety and efficiency on site.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid driver's license with clean driving history.
• Previous construction or heavy equipment experience required.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work well within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a variety of large heavy machinery such as excavators, loaders, dozers, and more.
• Maintain all equipment used, including cleaning and regular maintenance.
• Follow best digging practices for all projects.
• Work closely with the rest of the team on each project to ensure success.
