Job summary

Martin Marietta is seeking an Equipment Operator to safely operate heavy equipment such as haul trucks, water trucks, and loaders in a mining/aggregates environment in Pueblo, Colorado. You will move materials from pit to crusher, maintain stockpiles, and help with dust control and plant housekeeping.

Responsibilities include daily inspections, minor repairs, and strict adherence to MSHA and company safety practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Technical training or vocational certification is preferred.
• 6 months–1 year of heavy equipment experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate entry-to-mid-level mobile equipment including haul trucks, water trucks, and front-end loaders.
• Transport raw materials from the pit to the primary crusher and move finished products to stockpiles.
• Maintain integrity of stockpiles and prevent contamination.
• Perform dust control and berm/traffic-safety tasks with equipment.
• Conduct daily inspections and assist with minor repairs.
• Adhere to MSHA regulations and internal safety policies.
