Martin Marietta is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator for the Sedalia Quarry in Sedalia, MO. The role involves safely operating heavy equipment to move material within the plant and supporting team operations.

Pay ranges from $23 to $26 per hour, depending on experience. Work hours are 6am–5pm, Monday through Friday, with 55–60 hour weeks possible. Strong safety awareness and ability to work outdoors year-round are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of related experience.
• Valid US driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Participate in safety programs and training, promoting Guardian Angel culture.
• Inspect equipment for signs of wear.
• Perform basic maintenance on heavy equipment.
• Work in a team environment.
• Clean work areas.
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions.
• Wear PPE properly.
• Notify supervisors of repairs needed.
• Ensure materials are loaded safely.
• Assist in plant maintenance and repairs.
• Perform duties with minimal supervision.

• Proper wear of personal protective equipment
• Notify supervisors of repairs needed
• Ensure materials are properly loaded according to safety requirements
• Assist in plant maintenance and repairs
• Perform duties with minimum supervision

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Education and Experience:

• 1+ years of related experience
