Job summary

WM is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator I to join our team at a Maricopa, AZ site. You will operate bulldozers, scrapers, and front-end loaders while supporting safety, reliability, and efficiency across our recycling facilities.

The role offers a stable schedule (Mon–Fri, rotating Saturdays) with 730am–4pm shifts, benefits, and opportunities for advancement through on-the-job training and education assistance.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience operating heavy equipment.
• Be over 18 years of age.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Operates heavy equipment in accordance with safety policies.
• Conducts routine inspections and preventative maintenance; keeps records.
• Moves and positions materials using material handling equipment.
• Follows standard operating procedures for operating and maintaining equipment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
