Job summary

WM (Waste Management) is hiring a Heavy Equipment Operator I for our Hutto, TX site. You will operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, scrapers, and front-end loaders, following safety policies, and perform routine inspections and basic maintenance.

The role supports our recycling facilities and waste disposal operations across the region. The position offers a Monday–Friday 7:00am–5:00pm schedule with some Saturday hours, competitive benefits, and opportunities for growth through training

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience operating heavy equipment.
• Must be over 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and physical.
• Preferred: Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment (bulldozers, scrapers, front-end loaders) per safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance; keep accurate records.
• Move materials and assist with site logistics as required.
