Job summary

WM, a North America's leading provider of waste management services, is hiring a Heavy Equipment Operator I in BENNINGTON, NE. You will operate bulldozers, scrapers, and front-end loaders at our recycling sites, contributing to safe and efficient waste processing.

Expect a stable schedule Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm with rotating Saturdays, a starting wage of $26-$28 per hour, and benefits including healthcare, 401(k) matching, and education assistance to support your growth and family security.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience operating heavy equipment.
• Be over 18 years of age.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and physical.

Responsibilities

• Operates heavy equipment in compliance with the company operating safety policies and procedures.
• Conducts routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment; maintains accurate records.
• Moves and positions raw materials and finished components with use of material moving equipment.
• Follow appropriate standard operating procedures as per guidelines for operating and maintaining vehicle.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
