Job summary

WM in Big Lake, TX is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator I to join a team that values safety and reliable, stable hours. You''ll operate bulldozers, scrapers, and front-end loaders, perform pre-shift inspections, and help maintain site safety while supporting our waste disposal operations.

Shifts run 6pm–6am with a 2 weeks on / 1 week off schedule; starting pay $23.00–$26.00 per hour, with health benefits, 401(k) matching, and growth education assistance.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience operating heavy equipment
• Be over 18 years of age
• Legally eligible to work in the United States
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations
• Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and physical

Responsibilities

• Operates heavy equipment in compliance with company safety policies and procedures
• Conducts routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance
• Moves and positions raw materials and finished components with material moving equipment
• Follows standard operating procedures for operating and maintaining vehicle
• Performs other duties as assigned
