Job summary

WM is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator I to operate bulldozers, scrapers and front-end loaders at our recycling facilities. The role offers Monday–Friday 7:00am–5:00pm with rotating Saturdays 7:00am–2:00pm and a starting pay of $22.00 per hour, plus comprehensive healthcare, stock options, and 401(k) matching.

Requirements include 1 year of heavy equipment experience, US work eligibility, and passing a pre-employment drug screen and physical.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience operating heavy equipment.
• Be over 18 years of age.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and physical.

Responsibilities

• Operates heavy equipment in compliance with the company operating safety policies and procedures.
• Conducts routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment; maintains accurate records.
• Moves and positions raw materials and finished components with use of material moving equipment.
• Follow appropriate standard operating procedures as per guidelines for operating and maintaining vehicle.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
