Job summary

The City of Zephyrhills in Florida seeks a Heavy Equipment Operator to maintain and construct city streets and related infrastructure. Duties include operating heavy machinery, trimming trees, building sidewalks, installing street signs, and performing related tasks as assigned.

Minimum qualifications: high school diploma or GED; ability to follow instructions; valid Florida driver license; must obtain Class B CDL with air brake within six months.

Responsibilities

• Work after-hours, overtime, or alternate hours as needed for department operations.
