Oklahoma Turnpike Authority (OTA) - Chickasaw Turnpike maintenance team in Sulphur, OK - is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to safely operate machinery and support highway maintenance and repair projects.

The role requires operating power equipment, basic repairs, and landscape/vegetation control along the Chickasaw Turnpike. The position is full-time with a day shift and opportunities for career progression with CDL advancement.

Qualifikationen

• One year of experience operating heavy equipment (preferred in road construction/maintenance).
• Current Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).

Aufgaben

• Operate heavy equipment and other machinery for highway maintenance and repair.
• Perform minor repairs and routine maintenance on equipment and facilities.
• Repair roadway shoulders, signs, guardrails and fences as needed.
• Provide traffic control assistance using appropriate signals.
• Apply herbicide to highway rights-of-way to control vegetation.
• Remove debris from roadways and rights-of-way.
