Job summary

Texas Materials, A CRH company, is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator for our San Antonio / New Braunfels area. You will operate a variety of heavy equipment for groundwork and construction, while following OSHA/MSHA safety guidelines and company policies.

The role requires 1–2 years of experience, a valid CDL Class A/B, and the ability to work nights or weekends as needed. Strong teamwork and precise time/material records are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of equipment operation and safety procedures.
• Ability to read blueprints or project documents.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment of various sizes and weights, safely and efficiently.
• Follow all company policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations for safe working procedures and environment.
• Report problems to Foreman, Superintendent, Safety Manager, or HR Manager.
• Follow Foreman directions for daily tasks and project expectations.
• Perform routine maintenance and servicing; refer major problems to supervisor.
• Conduct daily pre- and post-inspections with proper documentation.
