Job summary

TIC_Craft seeks an equipment operator to operate power construction equipment for excavation, loading, hauling and road maintenance on challenging sites. The role requires handling gravel, dirt, sand, and trenching activities with focus on safety and efficiency.

Ideal candidates will have basic maintenance skills, able to follow instructions, and communicate with supervision. Outdoor work in varied weather with possible overtime is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
• Commitment to safety and good communication with supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operate various heavy construction equipment to excavate, move and grade material.
• Load gravel, dirt, sand and spread rock and gravel; smooth and grade roads.
• Trench and construct ditches for culverts and pipes; inspect for defects.
• Check fluid levels and lubricate equipment; perform basic maintenance.
• May train others in safe operation and job techniques.
