Job summary

S.T. Wooten Corporation is seeking experienced heavy equipment operators for Wilmington, NC. You will operate dozers, excavators, rollers, and other construction equipment to excavate, move, and grade earth and to lay pavement surfaces.

The role requires a minimum of two years of operating experience, flexibility with hours, and the ability to travel for out-of-town projects. Safety training and reliable performance are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years operating dozer, excavator, or rollers.
• Experience on multiple machines is a plus.
• Must be 18+ years old with a HS diploma or GED.
• Willing to travel/work out of town as needed.

Responsibilities

• Load and move dirt, rocks, equipment, or other materials.
• Operate machines with blades to spread, smooth, level earth or terrain.
• Perform pre-shift inspections of equipment for safety and defects.
• Work long, flexible hours including nights and weekends as required.
• Coordinate machine actions with crew and respond to signals.
