Job summary

Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ experience operating grading equipment in construction.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.
• Experience supervising construction crews and coordinating tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct the grade crew in daily operations, ensuring adherence to project plans and safety guidelines.
• Operate grading equipment including motor graders, bulldozers, loaders, and excavators.
• Coordinate equipment and crew assignments to optimize workflow and productivity.
• Monitor work progress and inspect finished grades for accuracy and quality control.
• Communicate with project managers, engineers, and team members regarding requirements and progress.
• Maintain equipment, perform daily inspections, and report maintenance needs.
• Train and mentor crew members on techniques and safety procedures.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Keep detailed records of work performed, materials used, and issues encountered.
• Demonstrate strong leadership and team management skills.
• Show expertise in operating heavy grading equipment and understanding grade specifications.
