Job summary

KBR is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator for the TACOM (RRAD) program. The role involves general maintenance, repairs, and supporting logistics with vehicle operation to transport tools and materials.

You will perform carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical tasks as required in a physically demanding environment. Responsibilities include safety compliance, record keeping, and coordination with maintenance teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training preferred.
• 2–4 years in general maintenance, facilities support, or related work.
• Valid driver's license; ability to operate government or commercial vehicles.
• Ability to obtain/maintain U.S. Government security clearance as required.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and minor repairs to facilities and equipment.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and upkeep of buildings and sites.
• Operate motor vehicles to transport materials and personnel.
• Load, unload, and move materials for maintenance and logistics.
• Inspect work areas to identify maintenance and safety needs.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in good condition.
• Follow safety procedures and use PPE.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and vehicle use.
• Support facility upkeep including cleaning and painting.
• Coordinate with supervisors on work assignments.
• Support inspections, audits, and government reviews.
