Job summary

GreenWaste seeks an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to support one or more facilities. The role focuses on safely operating industrial-grade machinery, following safety protocols, and ensuring efficient material handling across site operations.

Responsibilities include loading trucks, maintaining equipment, and coordinating with scale/spotters to manage traffic. The ideal candidate will follow procedures and work well in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of heavy equipment operation and safety features.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and make quick decisions.
• Be punctual and reliable to minimize disruptions to operations.
• Ability to work as a team and with others.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to company and OSHA safety procedures.
• Operate wheel loaders and other heavy equipment proficiently.
• Work in a fast-paced, close-quarters environment with other equipment and personnel.
• Load trucks and/or processing equipment.
• Push material on tipping pads as needed.
• Maintain and prepare equipment for daily use.
• Inspect equipment daily and report issues to supervisor.
