Minimal qualifications include 3+ years operating experience, a CDL for road work, and NCCER-based certifications. You will work on safety-focused teams across typical outdoor job sites.

Qualifications

• 3+ years or 6,000 hours of working experience as an equipment operator.
• CDL is required when equipment will be operated on public roads.
• Must possess an OCI Equipment Qualification card endorsing the unit being operated.

Responsibilities

• Operate gasoline, diesel, pneumatic or electric powered equipment to move objects or material according to project specifications.
• Coordinate machine actions with crew members and load/move dirt, rocks, or equipment using trucks and related gear.
• Calculate slopes and grades of materials, understand trenching and excavating requirements.
• Maintain safe operation by following safety rules and reporting hazards or incidents.
• Follow load capacity charts and ensure proper equipment support.
