Job summary

Black & Veatch Family of Companies is seeking an Operator Equipment for power construction projects in Louisiana. You will operate a range of heavy machinery (backhoes, loaders, trenchers, etc.) to excavate, move and level earth while maintaining safety and efficiency on site.

Responsibilities include performing maintenance logs, coordinating with crew members, and ensuring compliance with trenching and safety regulations. Preferred NCCER certifications and CDL when operating on public roads.

Qualifications

• Experience operating construction equipment with a strong focus on safety.
• Must be able to read and follow plans and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Operate various power construction equipment to excavate, move and grade material.
• Perform daily inspections and document maintenance on equipment.
• Coordinate machine actions with crew signals and site plans.
