Job summary

APTIM Federal Services, LLC team has several projects at Hunters Point Naval Shipyard, San Francisco, CA. The projects will investigate, excavate, and restore properties that have environmentally and radiologically impacted soil; restore the shoreline and construct seawalls in support of the redevelopment of the San Francisco Bay waterfront.

We are seeking a construction workforce who are up to the operational challenges of this high profile and critically important projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' relevant construction experience.
• Experience operating excavator for trenching and demolition.
• Ability to read survey stakes for alignment and grade.
• Knowledge of OSHA excavation methods and practices.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must pass pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• Preferred: OSHA HAZWOPER training.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure safe operation.
• Fastens attachments, connects hydraulic hoses, belts, etc. and performs minor repairs.
• Pass certification testing prior to operating some equipment.
• Annual physical examination required.
• Observe and comply with all safety and project policies; perform other duties as required.
