Job summary

APTIM is seeking experienced field personnel to support residential soil remediation in Clearlake Oaks, CA. Roles include laborers, licensed heavy-equipment operators, and CDL drivers, with outdoor work around contaminated soil and heavy equipment under a site health and safety plan.

Project work is in two phases, Fall 2026 and Spring 2027, with overtime to meet milestones; travel may be required. Project benefits align with federal labor standards and competitive wages.

Qualifications

• Civil Construction and/or environmental work experience required.
• Must live within daily commute of Jackson, CA.
• Clean driving record with valid license required.
• Dependable transportation and cell phone required.
• Able to pass drug screen and physical; OSHA HAZWOPER preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate small to mid-sized excavation equipment (mini-excavators, loaders, skid steers).
• Use loaders, skid steers and compactors.
• Maintain safety and professionalism in residential communities.
• Work in a team environment to perform tasks safely and efficiently.
• Perform backfill and site restoration.
