Job summary

Eco Material Technologies, a CRH Company, is recruiting a Heavy Equipment Operator to handle a range of heavy machinery and assist in bulk materials movement across the site. The role emphasizes safety, quality workmanship, and reliable performance in a demanding environment.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of field experience, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and strong communication skills to coordinate with crew and supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of experience in a relevant field
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Proficiency in operating heavy equipment and following safety procedures

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-operation inspections and report defects.
• Operate equipment such as front-end loaders, dozers, graders, rollers, excavators, dump trucks, vacuum or water truck.
• Execute site preparation, excavation, earthmoving, and material handling per plans and supervisor instructions.
• Perform routine maintenance including checking fluids and lubrication.
• Maneuver equipment safely in confined spaces and around obstacles, maintaining safety of personnel and property.
• Load and unload materials using appropriate attachments and techniques.
• Coordinate with supervisors and coworkers to report progress and address issues.
• Maintain regular attendance, timeliness, and scheduling flexibility.
