Job summary

CRH is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator in the Orlando area to operate a variety of equipment for lifting and transporting bulk materials to and from storage, to landfill sites, and to load trucks or railcars.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Proficiency with multiple machines and a strong emphasis on safety are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and training or certification in relevant skill or trade.
• At least 1 year of experience in a relevant field.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to operate various heavy equipment including bulldozers, excavators, loaders, graders.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-operation inspections and report defects.
• Operate equipment such as front-end loaders, dozers, graders, rollers, excavators, dump trucks, or vacuum/water trucks.
• Execute site prep, earthmoving, and material handling per plans.
• Perform routine maintenance and lubrication.
• Communicate with supervisors and coworkers to coordinate tasks.
• Maintain attendance and scheduling flexibility.
