Job summary

Eco Material Technologies, a CRH Company, is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to efficiently operate a fleet of heavy machinery including bulldozers, excavators, loaders and dump trucks. You will perform pre-operation inspections, conduct routine maintenance, and ensure safety protocols on site.

Responsibilities include site preparation, earthmoving, material handling, and coordination with supervisors. Candidates should have at least 1 year of relevant experience and a High School Diploma or

Qualifications

• Proficiency in operating heavy equipment (bulldozers, excavators, loaders, graders, etc).
• Basic machinery maintenance knowledge: inspection, lubrication, minor repairs.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
• Works well with others and follows supervisor instructions.
• Reads and comprehends simple instructions.
• Strong verbal communication to report issues and coordinate.
• Attention to detail in grading, digging and material handling.
• Responds promptly to customer needs.
• Manages time and meets productivity standards.
• Follows safety procedures and uses equipment properly.
• Consistently punctual and reliable.
• Able to work rotating on-call shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Adapts to changing site conditions and priorities.
• Education and training in relevant skill or trade required.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-operation inspections and report defects.
• Operate equipment such as front-end loaders, dozers, graders, rollers, excavators, dump trucks.
• Execute site prep, earthmoving, and material handling per plans.
• Perform routine maintenance: check fluids, lubricate, clean.
• Maneuver equipment safely in confined spaces and around obstacles.
• Load and unload materials with appropriate attachments.
• Coordinate with supervisors and coworkers to ensure progress.
• Maintain attendance, timeliness, and schedule flexibility.
