Job summary

Eco Material Technologies is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to operate front-end loaders, dozers, graders, rollers, excavators, and dump trucks to move bulk materials and support site activities. The role requires pre-operation inspections, adherence to safety policies, and effective communication with the team.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma and at least 1 year of experience operating heavy equipment, plus the ability to read simple instructions and troubleshoot minor

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and training or certification in relevant skill or trade
• Proficiency in operating heavy equipment (bulldozers, excavators, loaders, graders)
• Capacity to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions
• Able to read and comprehend simple instructions

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of heavy equipment to lift and transport bulk materials
• Perform pre-operation inspections and report defects
• Execute site preparation, earthmoving and material handling per project plans
• Perform routine maintenance such as checking fluids and lubrication
• Maneuver equipment safely in confined spaces and around obstacles
• Coordinate tasks with supervisors and coworkers
• Maintain productivity and safety standards
• Respond to customer needs and adapt to changing site conditions
