Qualifications

• Experience operating earth moving construction equipment, such as backhoe, skid steer, excavators, or loaders is helpful.
• Valid Driver's License with own transportation.
• Experience as construction laborer.
• Must hold a high level of common sense relative to equipment and machinery operation.
• Mechanical aptitude based on past experience around equipment, motors, hydraulic, electrical systems.
• Must successfully pass ATF screenings.

Responsibilities

• Operate or learn to operate heavy construction equipment safely and efficiently as directed by Supervisors or Operators.
• Be safety-minded and able to work in varying weather environments.
• Possible out-of-town travel and overtime may be required.
• Perform daily maintenance activities for safe operation of assigned equipment.
• Adhere to Company Safety Policies and Procedures.
• Learn drill patterns and terminology and execute patterns as established by the Blaster Foreman.
• Coordinate with Blaster/Foreman on supplies and conditions.
• Submit drill reports, hole sheets, and signed timecards timely.
