Job summary

Texas Materials, a CRH company, is seeking an Equipment Operator to operate heavy and light equipment for groundwork and construction projects in Texas. You will perform inspections, basic maintenance, and follow safety procedures to protect yourself and teammates.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 1-2 years of related experience. A valid CDL (Class A/B) with hazmat/tanker endorsements is preferred; eligibility for pre-employment checks is required.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be 18 years or older and able to pass pre-employment checks.
• Valid CDL Class A and/or B with hazmat/tanker endorsements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment of various sizes and weights safely and efficiently.
• Follow OSHA/MSHA regulations and company policies for safe procedures.
• Inspect equipment daily and perform minor servicing; report major problems.
• Assist training of less-experienced workers on equipment operation.
