Job summary

Texas Materials, a CRH company, is seeking an Equipment Operator to safely operate a range of heavy and light equipment on groundworks and construction sites in Texas. The role requires attention to safety, adherence to procedures, and the ability to work with foremen and crews on diverse projects.

Ideal candidates will have 1-2 years of related experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the mobility to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 1-2 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must pass pre-employment physical and background checks.
• Willingness to work in a team environment and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment of various sizes safely and efficiently.
• Follow company policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations for safe work.
• Perform daily inspections and routine maintenance as directed.
• Assist in training less-experienced coworkers on operations and safety.
• Maintain attendance and support project tasks as assigned.
