Croell, Inc. is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator - Aggregate to operate a full range of heavy equipment across a seasonal, travel-driven schedule.

The role reports to the Foreman and has no supervisory responsibilities, with duties including pre/post-shift inspections, servicing equipment, and efficient production of materials with a safety-focused team. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of heavy equipment experience, basic mechanical skills, and a dependable, team-oriented attitude.

Qualifications

• Continuous exposure to weather elements including heat, cold, noise, dusty conditions, and working outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Operate a full range of heavy equipment (i.e. skid steer loader, front-end loader, excavator, crusher, dredge, dozer, backhoe, etc.).
• Operate and maintain other equipment as needed.
• Perform inspections and maintenance of equipment such as greasing, checking oil, water, and tires/tracks.
• Perform physical duties about aggregate work (i.e. shovel, grade, etc.).
• Follow, enforce, and promote all company safety and quality requirements at all times.
• Ensure equipment preventative maintenance is performed timely, thoroughly, and correctly at all times.
• Consistently keep work area clean and organized to promote professionalism, safety, and efficiency.
• Willingness to perform duties outside the normal scope of work as this job description is non-exhaustive.

Job Summary:

The Heavy Equipment Operator - Aggregate will be responsible for operating a full range of heavy equipment. The Heavy Equipment Operator is a full-time, seasonal position that requires travel with overtime through peak season, reports to the Foreman, and has no supervisory responsibility. Take ownership of your role by completing pre- and post-shift equipment inspections, servicing equipment, and producing products efficiently and safely while working with a team that feels like family.
