Job summary

The role requires maintaining equipment, ensuring safety, and coordinating with crew and subcontractors. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of construction experience, the ability to read plans, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training in heavy equipment operation preferred.
• 3+ years of experience operating heavy equipment in a construction setting.
• Experience reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications.
• Experience with government contracts and compliance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment (bulldozers, excavators, loaders) to move materials and earth.
• Maintain equipment and perform basic repairs as needed.
• Communicate regularly with crew members and subcontractors to meet schedules and budgets.
• Develop and maintain relationships with crew and subcontractors to coordinate project deadlines.
