Key Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment including but not limited to backhoes, bulldozers, loaders, skid steers, excavators, and graders in alignment with safety standards and project specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
• Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and team members to execute projects effectively.
• Interpret and follow site plans and technical drawings to perform tasks accurately.
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to company policies and safety regulations.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to supervisors promptly.
• Document and record equipment operation activities, inspections, and maintenance as required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator in a civil construction environment.
• Valid certification and/or licenses to operate heavy machinery.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and protocols related to heavy equipment operation.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, maps, and technical documents.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and precision in operating complex machinery.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Physical stamina and strength to handle and operate heavy equipment for extended periods.
