Job summary

JP Mascaro & Sons in Bridgeport, PA is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to safely run the Wheel Loader and Drum Feeder, and support tipping floor operations in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 2+ years of heavy equipment experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather. Flexible scheduling including every other Saturday is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• At least 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment.
• Comfort working outdoors in all weather and indoors as needed.
• Availability to work every other Saturday and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the Wheel Loader and Drum Feeder.
• Enforce safety procedures on the tipping floor.
• Assist with Direct Drop Off procedures and customer interactions.
• Maintain onsite landscaping (mowing, weed-whacking, mulching).
• Assist with onsite operations as directed by supervisor.
• Keep onsite roads and surrounding areas free of litter.
• Other duties as assigned.

Our Great Valley Recycling division, located in Bridgeport, PA is currently searching for a Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team!

What You Will Do:

• Safely operate the facilities Wheel Loader and Drum Feeder
• Enforce safety procedures on the tipping floor
• Assist with Direct Drop Off procedures and customers as needed
• Maintain landscaping onsite including, but not limited to, mowing, weed-whacking, mulching
• Assist with onsite operations as needed when instructed by supervisor
• Keep the onsite roads/surrounding area litter free
• Other duties as assigned

QualificationsYou Have/You Are:

• A comfort level working in all-weather outdoors and ability to work indoors
• The ability to work every other Saturday (required) and overtime
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be organized and motivated to succeed with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
