Job summary

White Pines Landfill in Millville, PA is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. The role requires operating the facility’s heavy equipment safely and enforcing safety on the tipping floor, with duties including assisting customers and directing drop-offs.

The position also covers landscape maintenance and general onsite operations, with a need to work outdoors in all weather and to be able to work every other Saturday, plus overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have a valid Driver's License.
• Minimum 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and indoors as needed.
• Must be able to work every other Saturday and overtime as required.
• Excellent reading, writing and spoken English skills.
• Strong work ethic with ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the facility’s heavy equipment.
• Enforce safety procedures on the tipping floor.
• Assist with Direct Drop Off procedures and customers as needed.
• Maintain landscaping onsite including mowing, weed-whacking, mulching.
• Assist with onsite operations as needed when instructed by supervisor.
• Keep onsite roads and surrounding areas free of litter.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Will Do
